If you have been short listed for a role in either of the above films we are holding auditions in Leeds on the ... for the film "Quick Slip Me a Bride" at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. 

Once invited please confirm your attendance and time by email. 

Click here for the audition scripts, for you to to learn prior to the auditions. Although several are attached you only need to learn the parts with your preferred character in the heading. However during the audition we reserve the right to change this or give you additional, extra or alternative characters or lines. You may also be asked to read with other actors auditioning as well as our readers, as this may help us to see how various actors interact with each other and also give us an idea of your versatility. For example: those auditioning for the parts of Philipa and Mary may be requested to read for Karen or Nina as well and those auditioning for the part of Trevor may be required to do a scene as Donald .

If you are auditioning for "any short film" please note that successful auditioning for this production may make you eligible for a role on the feature film "Quick Slip Me a Bride" www.quickslipmeabride.com

Please note that the scripts you receive over the internet or on the website may be different from the characters in the original script. Once you have been screen-tested with the audition script you may be screen-tested further with an excerpt from the original screenplay. And there may also be call backs.

If you haven't done so already please confirm that you are able to attend and the agreed time is suitable. Please note that due to the stage of development of this project we are unable to offer any travel or other expenses for this particular auditions/screen test/ workshop. 

If you are offered a role on the film than this would be at the appropriate Equity rate.
